Anguilla seizes drugs worth over US $25M


~ Three held, guns found ~
ANGUILLA--The Royal Anguilla Police Force has seized 31 bales of cocaine with an estimated street value of US$25 million in an operation held between Wednesday, July 17 and Friday, July 19.
Three nationals from the Dominican Republic were arrested and are presently in police custody assisting with the police investigation.
The cocaine was seized from a small island off the west coast of Anguilla. Two automatic firearms and several rounds of ammunition were also confiscated.
It was a joint operation between members of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Drugs and Firearm Task Force, the Marine Police and Customs officials
