ESCAPED PRISONERS TO BE TRIED IN ABSENTIA, GEERT HATZMANN DENIES CONTACT WITH ESCAPED PRISONERS

The Courts will be dealing this morning with the trial of two supspects in the Novemver 10th murder of Gaston Ambroise Gumbgs. The 60 year old Frnch Wuarter resident was found on the weekend of November 10th, his body burnt in an obvious attempt to hide evidence.Two suspects in the case Sobiesky Manuel P. and Stevenson P. will be tried, however one will be tried in absentia. On Sunday June 23rd 2013 3 suspects including Sobiesky Manuel Parrondo, a 25 year old from the Dominican Republic escaped along with them his attorney Geert Hatzmann has allowed the trial to go forward without his client. Geert Hatzmann, claims to have had no contact with his client since his escape. arrondon’s co defendant Stevenson, is still in custody.
